Established in 2004, the LCD Library is the heart of Law College Durgapur. We provide a rich environment for academic excellence and research, managed by a team of professionally qualified staff. Our facility is fully automated using KOHA software with barcode integration for seamless borrowing and tracking.
About Librarian
Our library is headed by a highly distinguished Librarian with over 30 years of experience across institutions in India and Nepal. A Gold Medalist and PhD holder, he has pioneered the introduction of modern cataloging and digital issuance systems at LCD. With 22 published research articles, he brings a deep academic and professional expertise to our resource management. Supporting this leadership is a dedicated team of staff members committed to daily excellence and the continuous evolution of our library’s facilities to better serve our students.
Library Facilities

Reference Service
Our library has a separate reference section for reference purpose.
Photocopying Service
Journal articles and other materials that are not lent out can be photocopied for a nominal charge.
Inter Library Loan Service
Books/journal articles that are not available in our library can be procured from DELNET or other college libraries of the RAHUL FOUNDATION.
Newspaper Service
Library subscribes 02 daily newspapers for the benefit of its users.
Question Paper Service
Question papers of all the engineering examination are collected for the benefit of students.
Internet Service
Students can use internet for accessing the online sources for up.
