    Cyber Law is important because it touches almost all Transactions and activities concerning Cyber space.  Initially it may seem that Cyber Law is a very technical field that does not have any bearing to most activities in Cyber Space.  However, every action and every reaction in Cyber Space, whether we realize or not has some Legal perspectives.

    In view of rapid increasing use of Cyber Space, being unlimited medium ever evolved in human history, every activity in Cyber Space will have a Cyber Legal perspective. There are various Cyber Law issues involved in registering the Domain Name, setting up of website, launching website, sending and receiving e-mails and in many other activities.  In macro, one may not be aware regarding the background functionalities of the day to day Cyber activities but sooner or, later it may be realized how important it is to know the Cyber Laws involved in carrying out those activities.

Naavi is a pioneer in the field of Cyber Law in India. He was a member of the I.T. Act Policy Advisory Group of the Ministry of Information technology and the Inter Ministerial Working Group on cyber security and Cyber Laws of the Ministry of Communication and information technology.  He is the founder secretary of Cyber Society of India.

He authored many notable books on Cyber Laws and I.T. Act.
